An opportunity to serve the Syrian earthquake victims
Sairam Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,
The Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC) moved into action quickly to respond to the enormous destruction and loss of lives by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The local SSSGC center in Syria has had over 50 members regularly working to serve those adversely affected by providing supplies, food, and healthcare to those in need. Many centers around the globe, including in Zone 1 have taken up supply drives working with local churches and embassies.
The SSSGC of the United Kingdom has been preparing packages, each containing a total of 14 items, consisting of clothes, winter wear, socks, gloves, and personal hygiene items for all ages and genders. They have already sent one shipment of these packages and plan on sending 4 additional shipments over the next several weeks.
The Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Foundation (SSSGCF) is collaborating with our Sai UK team to provide support for an additional 500 packages to be shipped.
