Every year, as part of the sacred observances during Guru Poornima and Bhagawan’s Birthday, medical camps are lovingly organised in Prasanthi Nilayam, offering free healthcare to thousands of devotees and visitors. Traditionally lasting a week, these camps embody Bhagawan’s message of “Love All, Serve All.”

This year, however, is extraordinarily special. As the world joined together to celebrate the Centenary of the Divine Advent — a century of selfless love, a century of seva, a century of the Lord walking amidst us — the spirit of service has scaled new heights. For the first time ever, the customary medical camp during the Birthday season was extended for an entire month.

From November 1-30 2025, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust alongside the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, India, and the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council conducted a free medical camp in the Prasanthi Nilayam premises. This team included, among others, 160 physicians (79 gents and 81 Mahilas), 76 Allied Health Care professionals, and 91 non-medical volunteers. The camp was headquartered at the North 1 building complex and operated through four additional satellite sites named Dharmakshetra Enclave, Shivam/Sundaram Enclave, Vrindavan Enclave, Sai Shruthi Enclave, and Anand Vilas Enclave. In addition, four mobile clinics were sent to nearby villages to cater to the needy and the elderly. The camp provided a valuable opportunity not only to devotees in need, but also to those who came to experience the joy of service amidst the grandeur of the 100th birthday celebrations of our most beloved Bhagawan. Led ably by Dr. Geetha Kamath from the USA, specialties such as cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, ENT, pediatrics, dermatology, and many more fields of expertise were included to ensure holistic care of each patient. In total, 32,499 patients were seen and attended to, including 15,925 gents and 16,574 ladies. The camp collaborated with the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital as well as the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences so that patients who required further evaluation and treatment were attended to in time and with state-of-the-art care.

Besides these camps, medical emergency camps were placed in the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium during programs held there on the morning of November 19th and the morning and evening of November 23. A total of 75 members were divided into 5 Emergency Response Teams (ERT) at the 4 corners of the stadium and the VVIP section. Each ERT was trained to provide First Aid as well as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) revival at any given time. On November 19th, a temporary 1o-bed hospital was erected in the Easwharamma School Campus. Ten stretcher teams lent support to each ERT for transportation to this and other nearby hospitals via ambulance services. A total of approximately 40 patients were thus transported to these emergency services on Nov 19 and 23. Every medical professional who toiled round the clock experienced the love of Bhagawan and the satisfaction of offering their talents and skills at His Lotus Feet in this grand and magnificent way.
